List your charter boat with us
Who we are
BoatshedCharter is the latest initiative by Boatshed and it is an extension of our services to all yachting enthusiasts. We are building on our success as one of the most efficient yacht sales brokers in the world achieving more than 1000 sales a year. Our aim is to disrupt the charter market and offer greater value to our 1,2 million registered users, the more than 280,000 people who visit our website every month and, last but not least, all the fleet operators we work with.
Our philosophy
Transparency is key. We want our clients to be able to see and know all there is to know about the boat they will charter.
We only list boats we have personally visited and photographed. We make a detailed listing allowing our clients to transparently see all parts of a boat they are interested in chartering. Since a member of our team has visited the boat we have all the knowledge required to market it. More transparency, more knowledge, more satisfied customers. All of this without having to change the way you work.
We believe so much in transparency we even make public the day the boat was last photographed and the person that took the photos.
We do all the work
We will arrange for a member of our team to come and take the photos. Typically a photo session (we take photos of all parts of the boat including the mechanical ones) of a mid-sized boat takes 30 to 60 minutes. The only thing we need from you is to have access to your boat.
No extra cost
We consider the task to promote your fleet or boat the BoatshedCharter way our duty. As a result, we will pick up the cost of the photography. You do not have to pay or contribute towards any costs.
No extra paperwork
We use the real-time availability of the platforms so you do not have to maintain a separate one. We pull all relevant data from the platforms and we integrate it with all relevant data we have generated (photographs and videos). We will however ask a few questions about your boat to make sure we create an accurate listing.
Standard terms
We follow your standard terms and conditions like any other brokerage.
- We follow the standard way of making payments like any other broker. The charterer pays for the first installment to a BoatshedCharter account (upon signing the charter contract) and we will immediately transfer the amount that corresponds to your fee. - We follow your terms of cancellation. We inform the client in writing of your cancellation terms from the beginning.
How we make a booking
