Broker's Comments
Leisure boats, formed in 1967, started with the well known Leisure 17, built at Stanstead Airport! The Leisure 29 followed on from the Leisure 27 but with two feet added to provide a larger cockpit and the skeg and rudder also re-designed. 30 were built between 1979 and 1982 and they are considered to be solid and spacious sea-going cruisers. Subsequently, the moulds were bought by Jaguar Yachts and production continued as the Lynx 29.
On deck she is clear, and a flat foredeck helps with safe anchor handling and lines lead aft into the cockpit. Down below she is spacious, light and bright and feels fresh and clean.
This boat has been in the same ownership for 33 years and continuous maintenance has taken place by the same yard. She has been cruised and enjoyed with upgrades as required (Easyreef mainsail and tinted windows) and rigging, sails and furlers have all been replaced within the last 15 years.
She is currently afloat and available for easy viewing
