Broker's Comments
A credit to her current owner, this 1977 Westerly Centaur gains plenty of points where these older yachts so often fail.
For example, the windows are clear, unblemished, and appear well sealed. The non-skid and surrounding deck paint are newly applied, the cockpit comes with comfy cushions, and there is an extra-long stainless steel swim ladder fitted for easy access and entry while swimming.
A new (2023) anchor with stainless steel chain, a Lofrans windlass (2021), and a 2012 low-hours, regularly serviced Beta engine all contribute to the presentation of this much-loved cruiser.
Down below, the large windows, relatively new upholstery, improved galley with new cooker, and clean heads make this a light, airy, and enjoyable space to spend time.
This yacht would make an ideal coastal cruiser, floating holiday home, or first-time family boat. She's afloat and ready to use with immediate effect.
We highly recommend viewing if this lovely boat fits your criteria.
